Peg Butterfly
Finished Butterfly Craft
Materials Required:
1. Wooden Peg
2. Piece of felt
3. Piece of net / shiny material measuring width of slightly less than the length of your peg, and length approximately 1 1/2 times the length of your peg.
4. 2 small google eyes
5. Thin pointed black felt pen
6. Pipe cleaner
7. Screw in hook eye
8. Piece of string or fishing line
Instructions:
1. Print out the template below (for the butterfly wings) onto light card.

2. Cut out the template, place it onto the felt and using the black pen, trace on the shape. Cut out the felt wings.
3. Pull the felt wings and shiny / net material in the the peg.
4. Tie the pipe cleaner around the groove in the peg and fashion the ends into curls (see image below).
5. Stick on the google eyes and draw on the face (see below)
6. Screw in the hook, and tie a piece of string or fishing line to hang the butterfly.
