3. Coloured patty pans

Instructions

1. Cut out leaf shapes from the bright green paper

2. Lay a strip of DSST along the back of 3 or 4 pop sticks (these will be the flower stems).

3. Remove the backing from the DSST and adhere the base of two green paper leaves onto the DSST, so that the leaves will stick out from behind the pop stick stems.

4. Adhere the pop sticks onto the A4 white paper along the bottom, evenly spaced.

5. Place a small piece of DSST on the back of patty pans, and adhere them at the top of each of the pop sticks to be the flowers.

2. Cut a piece of contact that is larger than your frame. Use blu-tack to attach it to the table, contact side down, and then remove the covering paper (the sticky should face up). the blu-tack holds it in place and stops it from curling up. Attach your frame to the contact, as shown, making sure that there is a border of contact around its outside.

3. Punch out shapes from black paper (if desired). Arrange the punched out shapes onto the contact in side the frame first. Then cut up your different colours of cellophane inso small pieces, aproximately 1.5 - 2.0 cm square is about the right size. Arrange the coloured pieces of cellophane over the contact inside the frame. It is fine if it overlaps and doesn't matter if not all of every piece is stuck down.

Have fun colouring in a cowboy or cowgirl hat.
Then use your imagination - perhaps you could try adding glitter, a shining gold or felt star, or glue string around the edge.
