Flower Craft free kids pop sticks easy patty pans

Materials Required

1. Sheet A4 white paper
2. Coloured pop sticks
3. Coloured patty pans
4. Thin double-sided sticky tape (DSST)
5. Bright green paper
6. Bright buttons
7. Other embellishments eg cotton wool, paper or faom shapes, stickers, sequins, small patty pans, material flower shapes, glitter glue, glitter etc...
8. Craft Glue

Instructions

1. Cut out leaf shapes from the bright green paper

2. Lay a strip of DSST along the back of 3 or 4 pop sticks (these will be the flower stems).

3. Remove the backing from the DSST and adhere the base of two green paper leaves onto the DSST, so that the leaves will stick out from behind the pop stick stems.

4. Adhere the pop sticks onto the A4 white paper along the bottom, evenly spaced.

5. Place a small piece of DSST on the back of patty pans, and adhere them at the top of each of the pop sticks to be the flowers.

6. Embellish your flowers - use the pictures provided for imspiration and let your imagination run wild...

HINT: Use DSST to adhere your embellishments where possible, as this reduces mess and doesn't need to dry.

7. Use DSST or glue to place a button at the centre of each flower.

Materials Required

1. Piece of thick cardboard 8.5cm x 8.5cm
2. Plain fridge magnet
3. Texta's
4. Love heart sticker
5. Strong craft glue or hot glue gun
6. Double sided sticky tape (DSST)
7. Your choice of decorations for your magnet - eg Glitter glue, rubber stamps and ink pads, bright buttons, small stickers
8. Scissors or craft cutter
9. Piece a4 white paper (to print the template onto)

Instructions

1. Print out the template (below). The template will make six magnets.

2. Get the template ready:

Colour in the words "I My Dad" on your template first.
Then decorate it as desired (eg textas, crayons, stamping, stickers) but don't add anything wet (like glitter glue) yet.
Stick the love heart sticker on (positioning as shown in the picture)
Cut out the template around its border

3. Get the magnet back ready

Using the hot glue gun or strong craft glue, adhere the magnet to the back of the piece of thick cardboard.
Use the thick black texta to colour around the edges of the piece of cardboard (as shown)

4. Put the magnet together

Use the DSST to adhere the template to the cardboard back (as shown)

5. Finish decorating the magnet.

Now is the time to add anything sticky, like glitter glue, to your magnet.

6. The magnet is ready for the fridge

Materials Required:
1. Contact
2. Cellophane in different colours
3. Piece of Black A4 paper
4. Scissors or craft knife
5. Papaer punches in differnt shapes
6. Ruler
7. Lead pencil

Instructions:

1. Fold the piece of A4 paper in half, and using a ruler, mark a border around the edges (apart from the fold) as shown. Cut out and remove the centre portion of the paper using a craft knife or scissors. Open out the outer piece of paper.

2. Cut a piece of contact that is larger than your frame. Use blu-tack to attach it to the table, contact side down, and then remove the covering paper (the sticky should face up). the blu-tack holds it in place and stops it from curling up. Attach your frame to the contact, as shown, making sure that there is a border of contact around its outside.

3. Punch out shapes from black paper (if desired). Arrange the punched out shapes onto the contact in side the frame first. Then cut up your different colours of cellophane inso small pieces, aproximately 1.5 - 2.0 cm square is about the right size. Arrange the coloured pieces of cellophane over the contact inside the frame. It is fine if it overlaps and doesn't matter if not all of every piece is stuck down.

4. Cut another piece of contact larger than the frame, and apply it over the arranged cellophane, as shown. Trim the excess contact from around the frame using scissors or craft knife.

5. Use blu-tack to attach your stained glass to a window.
