April 20th 2008 02:58
Requirements
1. Piece of off white card card measuring 12.5cm x 25cm.
2. Piece of flowery patterned paper (Scrapbooking paper is perfect).
3. Piece of matching, coloured plain paper.
4. Dragonfly and flower stickers (Or other suitable stickers)
5. Double-sided tape
6. Punch Wheel (Optional)
Instructions
1. Cut a piece of card to measure 12.5cm x 25.0 cm (I used off white, slightly textured card)
2. Score the card at the halfway mark (ie: at 12.5cm ) and fold the card in half to make a square card.
3. From the patterned paper cut one square measuring 5cm x 5cm and five squares each measuring 2cm x 2cm.
4. From the plain paper cut one square square measuring 4cm x 4cm and seven squares each measuring 2cm x 2cm.
5. (Optional) Using punch wheel and cork board, mark the edges of all the squares. This makes the paper look as if it has been sewn, and add's texture to the card.

6. Using the double-sided tape, stick the 4cm plain coloured square into the centre of the 5cm patterned square.
7. Position this into the centre of your card, and then stick it down using the double-sided tape. (Use a ruler to make sure that it is central before sticking it down)
8. Arrange the small 2cm squares evenly around the central square. Once you have them in the correct position, stick them down with double-sided tape.
9. Place the stickers over the squares on the card as shown.
