Beaded Bookmark Packaging
February 24th 2010 04:55
If you have made a Beaded Bookmark (see my last post) you may like to package it, so it looks professional.
Materials Required
1. A sheet of A4 paper (I used white)
2. Printer
3. Cotton and thread
4. Sharp implement for punching a hole in paper. A needle or pin will suffice.
5. Sticky Tape
6. Plactic bag - sized for C6 paper
Instructions
1. Print off the template (below) onto a sheet of A4 paper
2. Fold the template in half
3. Fold it in half again
4. Open out the last fold. Lay the bookmark onto the paper in the desired placement (see image below) and pierce two holes in the paper on each side of the bookmark (see images for piercing placement)
5. Turn the paper over and thread a piece of cotton through one hole. Tape the cotton end down.
6. Turn the paper over again and loop the cotton over one side of the bookmark, then thread the cotton back through the second hole.
7. Turn it over again and now thread the cotton through a hole on the other side. Loop it around the other side of the bookmark, then thread the cotton back through the second hole. Tape the end down and trim off any excess thread.
8. Package the bookmark in the plastic bag.
